In this unit I've learnt that lesson planning is an important instrument for the teacher, but it must also be flexible and ready to be adapted to the students' needs. It's important to write down the aim of the lesson and how you want it to be reached, and a lesson plan can help you to reach that target and to give a time to each task in order not to run out of activities before the class finishes. Lesson planning is also a useful instrument to keep a record of what the class has done, and to improve the teacher's skill making notes of what has well worked ans what can be improved.
