This unit has demonstrated to me just how complicated the English language can be! The meaning of some of parts of speech are obvious and others less clear so I have had to take my time with this Unit to be sure to understand the subtle differences between the parts of different sentences. I think the terminology used has changed a lot since I was at school. I think though that I am beginning to grasp the various parts of speech and their meanings.
