In this unit I learnt a lot of useful information, such as classroom arrangement to increase the effectiveness and the ease of communication between students in the class. How to use proper gesturing, eye contact, and how to maximize talk time. One of the greatest issues with teaching ESL is controlling the behavior of Korean students who want to play games and don't want to study after a long day at school. It is good to have a warm up game prepared at the opening of the class to wait for stragglers to arrive and get control of the class. It gives the kids a chance to unwind. Pairwork is a great idea for students who are both strong and weak and it gives them a lot of opportunity to learn.
