This unit focused primarily on the different roles that teachers and students may engage in within the classroom setting as well as the plethora of motivations and skill levels that might be present in and have an impact on students. I felt this section really stressed the need to retain balance within the classroom between active engagement and contemplative assessment so as to ensure that all students are acquiring successful experiences learning the language with reflection that might better allow them to retain this knowledge.
