This unit describes the structure and possible usages of the four present tenses in English, presents common errors that students make while learning them, and offers examples of activities that can be used in the classroom during the Activate phase to help the students assimilate those new tenses.
Because English is not my first language, the learning process I have gone through is very academic and I feel that I have very strong knowledge in grammar and the use of tenses as a result; this unit was not very challenging for me and I cannot say that I learned anything new. Of course, refreshing old fundamentals can only be a positive thing and is certainly a good idea before stepping in the classroom.
I am once again grateful that this unit includes plenty of activities to put in practice the use of tenses, I will definitely make good use of them.
