This unit helped to show the diversity that exists in methods and approaches to teaching. There is no single "right" way to teach students but instead many different methods that can be employed depending on the situation. Every lesson should certainly involve engaging students, giving them time to study, review and learn new material as well as giving them opportunities to actively use the language. However, there are endless ways in which these main goals can be accomplished. My favorite teachers mixed things up and incorporated different activities and approaches to teaching and I hope to do the same.
