This unit got into the nitty gritty details of lesson writing. During my time in college, I took a few teaching classes and was therefore familiar with the ESA style. However, I appreciated that this unit encouraged me to be creative and unpredictable during my lessons. A good lesson is an interesting lesson, which is why it is good to switch things up frequently. This unit showed patchwork lessons and boomerang lessons as examples and that was helpful for me. It also included a lot of ideas for different activities during each phase. That was very helpful and sent me down a path of thinking up my own games and activities.
