This unit focused on the development and use of course materials, including cassettes, course textbooks, videos, CDs, and other materials, that might be useful in teaching new language concepts to students as well as to cement the knowledge. I had not previously considered how much analytical thought went into deciding on what materials were best to use in a classroom setting and the unit had me reflect on my own experiences in grade school regarding how the course material affected the flow of class.
