In this unit, the final tense(s) of the English tense system, was explored. This covered future tenses including future simple,future continuous, future perfect and future perfect continuous. Each of these future tenses were closely looked at and explanations were given on their usages, common errors and mistakes made my students in the learning of the future tenses. Useful teaching ideas and examples of activities for the teaching of the tenses were also provided in the unit. It is important that teachers have a good and clear understanding of the fundamental area of English language grammar surrounding the future tense as well as both past and present tenses.
