I really struggled to contain the information in the sectio and I feel I will continuously refer to this section. The parts I really took from this was the ESA and when to focus on grammar and when to focus on letting the students try to use the language. Each language is different and learning certain languages will have different struggles then other languages. My focus in Spanish was more on verb conjugations and vocabulary, while my time studying Japanese had more focus on sentence structure and learning about the culture. I feel this will have a lot to do with the style that teachers use to help their students, but I still feel the part I took the most from this section was continuing to learn how to engage students. The key is knowing when to engage students and let the language flow, and when to study and focus on improving the knowledge of the language.
