In this lesson, I have learnt how to plan a lesson without going into too much detail and by filling out the basic objectives of the lesson. In the past, I had gone to class with a brief plan, which was very flexible and did not necessarily follow any specific order. The mood of the students, the time of year and other extraneous variables, such as student lateness or upset can change the dynamics of the class. My lesson plans have been flexible and did not ever follow a rigid structure. I found that younger students are more open to suggestion and new things whereas some of the older students, particularly middle school are next to impossible to motivate in Korea. The level of English is also important.
