In unit 6: past tenses, i learned that forms and usages of past tenses. Past Simple tense, it is used for actions completed at a definite time in the past. Past Continuous tense, indicates that a certain action was in progress at a particular time in the past. Past perfect tense, a past action happened before a past action. Past perfect continuous tense, talk about continuing action in the past up until an action in the past, we don't know or are not concerned with whether or not it continued after. We need to pay attention to the difference of the forms between present tenses and past tenses .
