This last unit in the course covered the use of various troubleshooting strategies in the classroom. Among these strategies was the use of activities to warm students to the topic being discussed and the work ahead, what to do when faced with a difficulty keeping students speaking English instead of their L1 in the classroom, and how to approach the first time you teach a group under various circumstances. I thought this unit was very informative as it covered a variety of ways one can deal with these issues as they come up and in practice, how to use these methodologies to keep a course running smoothly.
