This unit covered some of the common problems that teachers encounter in the classroom and provided potential strategies for dealing with them. This unit covered how to facilitate the first lesson both with an established group and also with a brand new group. This unit also discussed how to build rapport and warmer activities for preparing students to learn as well as providing examples for both. This unit also covered the potential problems of teaching classes of mixed-level students, teaching large classes of 30-100 students, and encouraging students to participate and not to use their native language in the classroom.
