This unit covered equiment and teaching aids. The necessity of haveing a board of some sort, be it a traditional chalk/whiteboard, an interactive whiteboard, or an overhead projector was discussed. Next, the advantages of visual aids, such as audio and video electronic devices was elaborated upon. The value of textual resources such as dictionaries and coursebooks was also made known, followed by computer-based and online learning resources. I learned about the large variety of teaching aids available and that the humble dictionary is still an important staple to language learning.
