In this unit I learned the 4 skills of being a learner focusing on reading, listening, writing and speaking. Based on these things I learned how to create a receptive skills building lesson that tests and improves students skills. First you get the class talking about a small audio excerpt so they get interested, then you teach in the first study phase any problematic words. Have them listen to a full audio clip to answer questions and finally to activate them in a way to test what they have learned.
