This unit covering the types of learners and the processes in which they progress was quite comforting in all honesty. I found the subject matter to be a good foundation for the concepts that will be covered in later units and I think that this unit, in particular, will be one I refer back to the notes for if I see issues with a student or have difficulty assessing a students performance or my own performance as a teacher. This unit also covered some motivations for wanting to learn English which I found very useful as having a clear motivator will benefit my students and has encouraged me to start by finding what motivates my students and using that motivator to help them when they face challenges in learning the language.
