This was the most challenging of the grammar units. I felt like a lawyer parsing words and phrases. My first bit of confusion was the inclusion of present tenses. The real eye opener was learning about “going to future tense”. Having written two doctoral dissertations and multiple white papers I thought I was reasonably competent as a writer, I am, but certainly I need to study more grammar theory and tools.
