This unit provided an excellent demonstration of a class that did not function well and a second video of a class that did function well. In the first video the demonstration showed the importance of preparation/lesson planning on the part of the teacher. The teacher appeared disorganized, gave poor visuals, and eventually seemed frustrated with how the class was going. The second version seemed to have a good flow and covers materials clearly and effectively. The first video also showed how the teachers attitude and preparedness influenced the students. Students appeared, disengaged at times and confused. Whereas the students in the second class appeared engaged and to enjoy the lesson, taking notes and participating. Introductions in the second vide also seemed to set the class off on the right path, a sort of icebreaker.
