Again, Unit 10 exam is an example of summation testing. I was using my skills of observation using the lens of previous chapters, especially Unit 3 on Theories and Methodology. The difficult portion of the exam for me was making recommendations for improvement without having a better understanding of the student skill levels. As a former English as a Second Language teacher of Thai students I was impressed with their individual responses. For Thai students the use of pairs to answer gap-fill and generate an imaginary animal is consistent with their cultural learning style.
