This section focused on the present tense, with specific emphasis on its tenses of simple, continuous, perfect, and perfect continuous. This section has been very enlightening as it has helped me reflect on my own way of speaking and which tenses I tend to use when in conversation with someone or writing articles. There is a bit of difficulty, in my opinion, of keeping all the different usage conditions in mind but it has certainly been useful in grasping these concepts to both become a better teacher as well as to consider my own verbal behavior.
