IN the unit 7: teaching new language showed us some ideas of how to teach vocabulary, including how to select vocabulary for a level students, what should be considered when introducing grammatical structures, including meaning, use, forms and pattens, spoken and written form etc. On the other hand, this unit also provided ideas of how to plan a straight line ESA lesson with a connected topic, ideas of how to plan a boomerang ESA lesson for the present tense/ past tense, as well as how to plan a patchwork ESA lesson for the function of a certain scene, such as: checking into the hotel or order in a restaurant.
