This unit covered the use of coursebooks and lesson materials. In all honesty, it brought me to a pass that I think I'll need to decide on before I begin teaching and I think that there's a place for course books for the structure and support that they give. and a place for flexibility and ability to adapt to the needs of your classroom and leave the coursebook shut when necessary. I think that it all depends on the context of the class and what their needs & temperament are.
