From this unit, I have learned that it is more practical for an EFL teacher to consider that there are three different times in English; the past, the present and the future. Each of these times has four aspects; simple, continuous, perfect and perfect continuous. This gives us tenses such as present, past continuous, future perfect etc.Twelve in all. When we teach tenses, we will cover four areas: form, usages, typical student errors and active stage teaching ideas.
