This unit focused primarily on the different sorts of examinations that might be conducted by a teacher as well as the sorts of external exams students may be striving to pass and receive certificates as a result. Since I am a native speaker, I had not been aware of all of the different language certifications and examinations. While there is a lot of emphasis on examination in this chapter, it also seems important that these be appropriately spaced out so as to ensure that students do not feel swamped with tests.
