I have learnt in this unit the different teaching aids that can be used to nake lessons more ineteresting,effective and less dependent on the textbook.The following are the teaching aids used inside the classroom;The board which can be used for mant things like writing,drawing,sticking things on,projecting overhead transparencies,etc..The interactive whiteboards which are increasingly used in both state funded and private classrooms worldwide. Overhead projectors which are useful for pre-prepared overhead transparencies.Visual aids that uses real objects,pictures and photos.Worksheets and work cards which can be bought from a publisher or made my the teacher.Cassette recorders which can be used for recording authentic materials and students communucations.Cd players are widely used as primary source in the classroom.Videos and dvd's which are used for watching videos. Video Camera for recording activities and playback for analysis and discussion.Dictionaries,coursebooks,resourcebooks,photocopies,computers and online sources.
