Tests are a necessary evil. I was able to learn the difference between the varieties and purposes of tests for an ESL class. Furthermore, the variations of English proficiency external exams was a new concept for me. This unit was rather short so beyond this, I haven't gained much new information. The purpose or appropriateness of the tests are easily discernible for anyone who has taken a fair amount of each type across their time. Having recently graduated, I fall under the category of those people.
