From a learner’s point of view, I thought it was confusing to present a Patchwork Engage Study Activate (ESA) and then test using a Straight Arrow Engage Study Activate which did not conform to Straight Arrow ESA as taught in Unit 3. The introduction stated it would be a slim unit, I would have liked to have seen more information on “problems with listening” as it relates to ESL students. I do appreciate the well-articulated lesson plans.
