This unit presents information around past tense including past simple, past continuous, past perfect, and past perfect continuous. Usages for each are presented and activate ideas are included. The past tense itself is a review. However, the activate ideas are helpful in explaining the difference between the types of past tense and showing how they are used in daily language. Some of the exercises are similar and as a result the student can use an activity they are familiar with and focus on the language and not how to complete the task.
