Unit 16 focuses on conditionals and reported speech. It explains the different forms of conditional sentences and includes typical student errors and some techniques that can be used to teach conditionals to students. This unit also distinguishes between reported speech and direct speech,explains how to convert direct speech to reported speech and how this affects the use of tenses. It also includes common mistakes and teaching ideas for these as well.
I find units that cover grammar to be very valuable, since I am not familiar with many grammatical terms. For this reason, Unit 15 proved to be very helpful, as I have been able to expand my knowledge of English grammar.
