I learnt the correct rules for the past perfect, past perfect continuous, past continuous and past simple forms. This lesson taught me how to use the both the negative and affirmative forms of the verb and how to use questions properly, as well as tips on how to use each grammar principal to teach students. It is my hope that the material I have learnt will help explain with ease how to use the past tense which seems to be difficult for students to understand since there are so many past tense irregular verbs.
