Such material as touched upon during this unit was part of what first convinced me to consider becoming a teacher for higher-level students; I enjoy staying up-to-date on current events, and I very much enjoy the idea of being able to use that knowledge in order to help teach. During my time as a tutor, I would often use newspapers in order to assess reading comprehension, etc. I do still need to continue studying the ESA method.
