In this unit we discussed the parts of speech. Parts of speech are the way the words in a sentence can be categorized. The unit then explained some of the more common parts of speech. These included nouns and their types, adjectives, articles, verbs and types of verbs, adverbs, gerunds, pronouns, prepositions, and conjunctions. I have a difficult time with grammar, and found this unit very concise and helpful.
