This unit has contributed to the fact that I now understand how to plan a lesson and work myself through a lesson in a structured but flexible manner. I now know how to make a teaching plan based on a given curriculum and manage the time I am given with students to ensure optimum use of that time while ensuring students grasp and retain the content. I found this unit extremely helpful and feel much more competent to go out there and stand in front of a classroom. The lesson plan is well structured and I particularly like the fact that objectives and possible issues can be expressed. I agree with the fact that some reflection previous and after a lesson will contribute to my self-development as a teacher.
