I learnt about authentic and created materials, the authentic materials may be more more interesting to show in the class as they are real so more interesting and motivating. The students gain confidence as they can relate to them. The created materials are created by teachers or cut out from magazines and newspaper. I kind of like to make materials for my class, as they are Japanese and they love created material. I learnt about course books, how to use them. i personally add a lot of extra material to my course material which is given. Sometimes I feel the material is not suitable for the topic or at times the information is not enough to explain to the students. So most of the time I add extra material to teach my class. This allows them to get an thorough understanding of the topic we are learning.
