Unit 8 presented seven future tenses that are most common in the English language. I appreciate the manner in which these tenses was instructed. By following the same teaching structure as the present and past tense lessons, I was able to make connections to earlier units. I feel this will be of benefit to my students when presenting similar lessons. However, I must state that the future tense appears to be more complicated from an instructing point of view. By adding the three additional tense forms ("going to," present simple, and present continuous) to the study, I realize I will need to present the material clearly, as to avoid confusion with the present tense forms. The subtleties in usage between these forms is critical to overall meaning. Again, I am grateful for the concrete teaching activities for each of the forms.
