Present tense is used for actions in a time which are happening now. The term present tense is usually used in descriptions of specific languages to refer to a particular grammatical form. The basic form of present tense is called Simple Present, there are also constructions known as the Present Simple, the Present Continuous and the Present Perfect Continuous. All of these have different function, usage and importance to be able to use in an English language.
