This has been a completely beneficial unit in helping me to better understand why, and how certain pronunciations of words in English are formed. I appreciated the diagrams and charts, because they've helped me to understand what I do on a daily basis with my native language, which will in turn help me to better teach it. With English being my native tongue, it can be easy to just speak and not know why or how I am doing what I do. Now, I feel confident that I can help students to effectively form sentences, and speak with great meaning and emphasis to get across the meanings of what they want to say.
