I enjoyed the practice part of this lesson plan constructing a Straight Arrow, Boomerang, and Patchwork lesson plan. Additionally, the topics chosen for each structure forces the plan to be put together with strong consideration to the level of the class. Example, the Patchwork ESA plan that uses the hotel check in as the function for the lesson. This type of lesson is definitely not for beginner level students. Vice the topic of food used a a function for the Straight Arrow lesson plan that can be used for beginner level students.
