Future tenses include the four structures common to present and past tenses {simple, continuous, perfect, and perfect continuous} as well as the three additional forms of simple present (We leave tomorrow.), present continuous (I'm leaving you.), and "going to" as future tense. The extra three are more colloquial in my opinion, and a distinction should be made for advanced learners so that they avoid such phrasing in their formal writing.
