In this unit I have learnt the following:
1. What makes a good teacher (cares about teaching and even more about the learning of the students, should be patient, kind, able to entertain and motivate his/her students, correct without offending...)
2. The role of the teacher depending on the type of activity and what we would like the students to achieve (controller, prompter, tutor, participant, model, assessor etc.)
3. What makes a good learner (a desire to learn, to listen to the language, a willingness to ask questions, an acceptance of error correction and etc.)
4. Language levels (Beginners, Elementary, Pre-Intermediate, Intermediate, Upper-Intermediate, Advanced or according to the Common European Framework: A1-C2 )
5. Motivation (future career, travelling, communicating, living in an English speaking country and etc.)
