This unit teaches about the basic skills in any language which includes reading/listening skills as well as the importance of incorporating it into our lessons to balance approach. I have learnt the about the specialist skill needed to be employed when reading and listening, the problems associated with teaching and learning receptive skills and the basic skills to effectively apply it during a lesson.
