As a former high school English teacher, I found the content in Unit 2 to be an excellent refresher course. As a native English speaker, it is easy to forget how many rule exceptions exist when discussing parts of speech to ELL students. For example, the many irregularities with conjugating verbs can create a course in itself when learning English. As I was reading, reviewing and watching the video for this particular unit, I constantly reflected on how I would instruct this content to by ELL students. Depending on the classroom setting, I believe using creative instructing methods would lend itself to positive results.
