The optimal balance of course book, authentic and created material is key for a successful lesson. To reach the lesson’s objective, the material used must be carefully selected and utilised to keep students motivated throughout the lesson (beside the teacher himself, his/her mood and capabilities to teach) This unit made this pretty clear to me. I feel increasingly confident to stand in front of a class of students now, and this unit has greatly contributed to it.
