This unit educates on the tense system, particularly present tenses which are present simple, present continuous, present perfect and present perfect continuous with their forms (affirmative,negative and questions ), usages. It also gives an idea of possible errors made by an English learner and it encourages a teacher to form strategies on how to tackle such errors. It also gives fair ideas of activities to encourage productive communicative usages of these tenses during the activate stage of the lesson such as role play.
