Phrasal verbs consist of a verb plus one or two particles. The particle could be a preposition or adverb. There are three types including Type 1 Intransitive phrase. Type 3 transitive inseparable, the object phrase or object pronoun both com after the particle. Modal words include can, could, would, must, might, shall, will, have to, have got to, need to, etc. They are used to express obligations, possibilities, permission/prohibition, ability, advice.
