Unit 7 focused on how to teach new language, i.e. new vocabulary and grammar patterns. Each section began with relevant factors in deciding what particular material to teach and what information about said material the students need to learn in order to grasp it. Each section then proceeded to provide examples of what types of activities were appropriate for each stage - i.e. Engage, Study, or Activate. The unit summed up with a discussion of how to teach language functions as well as how to order ESA lessons.
