This unit provided a good introduction to the course including a definition of who is to be considered a young learner, information on employment, course content, objectives and a helpful review of industry standard acronyms.
As a relatively new teacher, this unit gave me some helpful information for the remainder of the course. Much of the information has been presented to me before, but it was a good review, especially of the acronyms which we don't all use that often in our everyday work.
