In this unit two video lessons were shown. The first video depicted how a lesson should not be done. The teacher didn't even introduce himself, which I assumed to mean that it wasn't his first lesson with the class, but then he did not know the student's names either. The language he used was very over the students heads and he was generally hard to understand, both content wise and acoustically. Also by saying how this exercise is so very easy and not understanding why no one would answer, he basically called all the students stupid. It was definitely not an enjoyable lesson.
In the second video the teacher used language appropriate to the level of the students, he was friendly and enthusiastic about the lesson and thus could motivate the students to participate.
