Unit fifteen provided information about different forms of evaluation and popular external exams. When looking at different forms of evaluation, the unit discussed multiple tests which teachers will come across in their careers. Types of tests include; placement tests to identify a students level before joining a course, progress tests to regularly keep track of students' language development,diagnostic tests to identify what students already know at the start of a course, practice tests to prepare students for external exams. In the section about external exams the unit gave a lot of information about the most popular and recognized external exams, as well as their purposes and target students. This information will prove effective when setting up and preparing practice tests.
